Niti Kadakia

Niti Kadakia is the Vice President of the 2025-2026 MEF Board of Directors.

Niti most recently spent 10 years leading initiatives from the national corporate offices of Kaiser Permanente, a large non-profit organization. Initiatives ranged in topics from innovations in health care delivery and coverage to social health programs. Her most recent role was to lead Kaiser Permanente’s efforts to partner with state and local leaders implementing policies funneling millions of dollars to school districts across the state of California to fund behavioral health initiatives.

“I was inspired to join MEF to continue my work supporting education through a new lens. Having the opportunity to work with so many talented and passionate community members is a true gift. A strong education builds the foundation for our kids to find their places in society and to lead fulfilling lives. Given our unique funding situation, I believe we have a critical responsibility to support our educators and children and could think of no better way to have a lasting meaningful impact.”

Niti holds a BS in Economics and MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. She currently lives in Moraga with her husband and two boys who attend Los Perales Elementary School.
