Every Donation Makes a Difference!
MEF primarily raises funds through donations from parents of current students, community members, and local businesses. Please give as generously as you can to support the MEF Annual Giving Campaign.
Donations to MEF are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. MEF Tax ID# 94-2791659
FAMILIES OF CURRENT STUDENTS:
The recommended annual donation amount is $1,500 per student.
While $1,500 is our recommended donation amount, what is most important is that every family participates in the Giving Campaign, so please give the amount that is right for you.
Community Members: If you don’t currently have a student in Moraga’s schools, please give as generously as you can!

PAYMENT PLANS
You can spread your donation out over the course of the fiscal year by choosing “Monthly Gift” when you make your online donation.
BUSINESS SPONSORS
Businesses receive special recognition as Campaign Sponsors depending on their giving level. If you are already donating as an individual, you can combine your personal and business donation for a higher level of recognition.
Sponsorship Levels:
Bronze: up to $2,500
Silver $2,500-$4,999
Gold: $5,000-$9,999
Platinum: $10,000-$14,999
Diamond: $15,000-$19,999
Champion: $20,000 and above
DONATE AN AUCTION ITEM
MEF holds an online auction and an Auction Gala every year. If you have an item to donate, such as a gift card, vacation home, or any other item, you can help our auctions be a success! Please reach out to us at mefspecialevents@gmail.com.
CORPORATE MATCHING
Check to see if your company will match your donation by using our search tool below or checking with your employer. If you are donating through your company, please let us know at MEF@moraga.k12.ca.us. We will then add you to our donor list and look out for your donation.
HONOR ROLL DONORS
Honor Roll Donors give $5,000 or more during the Giving Campaign. They receive special recognition, an invitation to a thank you event in the fall, and early access to Auction Gala tickets.
Honor Roll Donor Levels:
Gold: $5,000-$9,999
Platinum: $10,000-$14,999
Diamond: $15,000-$19,999
Champion: $20,000 and above
HOST A PAY-TO-PLAY PARTY
Community members host parties throughout the year, and MEF sells tickets to those parties to benefit our local schools. If you are interested in learning more about making an impact while building community by hosting a pay-to-play party, contact us at mefspecialevents@gmail.com.
ENDOWMENT FUND
A gift to the MEF Endowment Fund is an investment in the future. Learn more about the Endowment Fund here. If you would like to direct all or a portion of your give to the Endowment Fund, you can make that designation when you donate online or by mail.
DONATE YOUR CAR
MEF has partnered with Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary and Cars2ndChance to maximize your tax deduction and the benefit to MEF when you donate a car.
TRIBUTE GIFTS
Make a gift in honor or in memory of someone by selecting the box on our online form. Many families thank their teachers by giving to MEF in their name.

Sign up for Tutoring at Lafayette Academy
When you enroll in a Lafayette Academy program (except private tutoring), mention "MEF" and you will get 10% off one of their many programs, and an additional 10% of what you pay will go to MEF. Try the Strategic Reading or Math programs for K-8 children, Shadow Classes for middle and high schoolers, or SAT/ACT prep. Click here.

Participating merchants contribute each time you make a purchase using your free grocery loyalty or debit/credit cards that are registered with eScrip. Sports Basement
Go to any sports basement to register to become a Sports Basement Basementeer either at any store or online and select MEF Moraga Education Foundation to be your beneficiary. You will receive 10% off and 10% of your purchase profit will be donated to MEF.
