Adrianne Spencer

Adrianne has been an educator for 24 years, mostly within the Acalanes Union High School District. She has taught all grade levels of high school English Language Arts and all proficiency levels, from English Language Learners to AP Language and Composition. She led the ELD department at Las Lomas High School for several years and served as a teacher leader at Miramonte, facilitating curriculum updates in literature and media literacy. 

Adrianne and her family have lived in Moraga since 2008, and her two sons attended Moraga schools for K-12. She deeply appreciates the commitment to quality education in our community, and looks forward to supporting our schools as a board member this year. 

Adrianne has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Boston University and earned her teaching credential and Master’s in Education Leadership from Moraga’s own St. Mary’s College.
